It has been agreed with the Catholic Bishops of England and Wales that the re-dedication of England as the Dowry of Mary will take place on the feast of the Annunciation 2020.
• A two year preparation will start on the feast of the Annunciation 2018.
• A promotion of a nationwide Novena of prayer for England.
• The possibility of a 'Travelling Statue' of Our Lady of Walsingham going from Parish to parish. With prayers and readings in preparation for the re-dedication.
The Guild of Our Lady of Ransom will play a very important part in the spiritual preparation, including all of the publications and materials would be in the name of the Guild.
Current dates for Cathedrals that have responded to date are shown.
Liverpool is the first place for us to take Our Lady of Walsingham in June, followed by Brentwood in July; Belmont Abbey in October (which used to be a Cathedral) and Salford the following week.
Several dates for 2019 have already been filled, and possibly 2 for 2020 to conclude the tour.
